Very expected game when 6th rankedSpireds (5-3) were smashed by top-ranked North Bears (10-0) in Crows Nest 101-73 on Sunday. Norths B. looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Hornsby S. 's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Norths B. made 7 blocks. The winners were led by the former international guard Jazmin Shelley (165-2000, college: Nebraska) who scored that evening 26 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and American forward Talya Brugler (185-2002, college: St.Joseph's) supported her with 25 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field).
