There was a minor upset in Albury where 8th rankedSharks (3-4) were rolled over by tenth ranked Lady Bandits (4-5) 78-54 on Saturday. Albury forced 23 Sutherland turnovers and outrebounded them 52-35 including a 20-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Emily Lyttle who had a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds. American forward Unique Thompson (190-1999, college: Auburn) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds.
