There was a small surprise in Bendigo where fourteenth rankedLady Braves (4-8) defeated 11th ranked Frankston Blues (5-8) 86-78 on Saturday. Forward Olivia Pollerd (190-2002, college: Santa Clara) had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Hannah Hank (188-2001, college: Clemson) chipped in 20 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Five Lady Braves players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Louise Brown (189-1995, college: Tennessee) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and American forward Megan Mullings (185-1992, college: Alaska-Anch., agency: Crossover Management) scored 17 points. Despite that victory Bendigo went down to fifteenth position due to points difference, which they share with Kilsyth. Frankston B. lost fifth consecutive game.
