Regular Season Round 10: Inner WB - Albury LB 62-79

There was no surprise when bottom-ranked Bulls (0-11) were defeated at home by seventh ranked Lady Bandits (6-5) 79-62 on Sunday. Albury outrebounded Inner WB 53-23 including a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Albury shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Inner WB's players. Emily Lyttle scored 25 points to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Unique Thompson (190-1999, college: Auburn) chipped in 13 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Lady Bandits' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side French Seehia Ridard (188-2002) responded with 24 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Taylah Levy (165, college: CSU) scored 23 points and 4 assists. Lady Bandits have a solid three-game winning streak. Albury maintains seventh position with 6-5 record, which they share with Melbourne T. and Waverley F. Loser Bulls still closes the standings with 11 games lost. Albury will meet at home Illawarra H. (#10) in the next round. Inner WB will play against Hills H. (#9) in Baulkham Hills and hopes to get finally their first victory.
