Not a big story in a game when 9th rankedSeahawks (2-5) were outscored by fourth ranked Thunder (6-1) in Loganholme 85-66 on Friday. Logan T. dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Seahawks ' 22 and made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. Logan T. forced 27 NGC Seahawks turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American Leah Scott (183-1993, college: Marshall) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. French guard Amandine Toi (178-1998, college: Virginia) accounted for 20 points and 6 steals for the winning side. Four Thunder players scored in double figures. Guard Katie Deeble (173-2003, college: Wake Forest) came up with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and Jessica Boundy added 18 points and 6 rebounds respectively for NGC Seahawks in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Thunder . Logan T. maintains fourth place with 6-1 record.
