Regular Season Round 3: Jets - Nuggets 85-92

No shocking result in a game in Palmerston North where Nuggets (3-2) defeated Jets (0-5) 92-85 on Saturday. Nuggets dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Jets' 42. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Samuel Timmins (211-97, college: Washington) who had a double-double by scoring 29 points and 25 rebounds. American guard Isaiah Moss (196-96, college: Kansas) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward DeAndre Daniels (206-92, college: UConn) who recorded a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds and the other American import guard Daishon Knight (185-91, college: Illinois St.) added 18 points and 4 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Nuggets will face Giants (#9) in Stoke in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Jets will play at home against Mountain Airs and hope to get finally their first victory.
