The game between Top Four teams took place in Southland. host Sharks (2-2) were smashed by Hawks (2-2) 87-68. Hawks made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was the former international swingman Ethan Rusbatch (196-92, college: Lincoln Trail) who scored 30 points. The former international forward Jordan Hunt (205-1997, college: S.Oregon) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Dominique Kelman-Poto (201-1994, college: Adelphi) who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds and guard Alonzo Burton (193-1993, agency: IceBasket) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hawks will meet Huskies in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sharks will play against Airs in New Plymouth and hope to secure a win.
