American forward Sam Thompson (200-1992, college: Ohio St.) stepped up and scored 27 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and his fellow American import power forward Trey Mourning (206-1996, college: Georgetown, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 22 points and 12 rebounds.
