Very significant was Pouakai's (#3) just 3-point road victory against one of their biggest challengers Whai. The winners were led by American forward Trinity Baptiste (183-1998, college: Arizona) who scored that evening 21 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import swingman Erin Whalen (185, college: Dayton) supported her with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Even 19 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals by American point guard Kyra Lambert (175-1996, college: Texas) did not help to save the game for Whai.
