Regular Season Round 4: Nuggets - Giants 90-83

There was no surprise in Dunedin where bottom-ranked Giants (0-5) were defeated by top-ranked Nuggets (4-0) 90-83 on Thursday. Nuggets made 20-of-22 free shots (90.9 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Giants turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Australian guard Michael Harris (193-1999) who helped to win the game recording 31 points and 6 rebounds and American guard Jaquori McLaughlin (193-1998, college: UCSB, agency: Pensack Sports) who added 16 points and 6 assists during the contest. Nuggets' coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American point guard Avery Woodson (188-1993, college: Butler) responded with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Samuel Dempster (194-1990) scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Nuggets have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 4-0 record. Giants at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. Nuggets will meet Bulls (#4) in the next round. Giants will play against Airs (#6) and hope to get finally their first victory.
