Worth to mention a great performance of Joel Foxwell who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 28 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!). Guard Jacob Furphy (193-2006) stepped up with a triple-double by scoring 26 points, 15 rebounds and 12 assists for the winners and guard Kye Savage (186-2005) chipped in 29 points. At the losing side forward Alex Dodson (-2006) responded with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 15 rebounds and Jack Haggett scored 21 points and 9 rebounds. NSW outrebounded W. Australia 45-34 including 34 on the defensive glass. Point guard James O'Donnell (180-2005) nailed 19 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and guard Joshua Dent (188-2005) accounted for 15 points and 6 assists. Four NSW players scored in double figures. Forward Joshua Ibukunoluwa (206-2005) came up with 17 points and 9 rebounds and Robert Griechen added 9 points respectively for W. Australia in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

Kavione Green, American forward from the Bellarine Storm, earned the Player of the Year at the Big V Conference. He graduated from Bloomfield five years ago. Green also earned a spot in the First Team. He was previously voted to the First Team back in 2022 and 2023. Green's playmaking prowess was on full display as he secured the fifth position in points per game averaging over 24. He was the Player of the Week honoree twice during the 24 campaign. Green led the Big V in rebounds per game with almost 13. He has totalled 14 games of 20 or more points on the year and recorded 30 or more points in 9 games. Green registered double-doubles in 15 games at the event. His 38 points against Shepparton were the most he scored in the 2024 season. As evident, the league is predominantly led by former college players, with all top 10 scorers having graduated from US schools. Green's team won the Australian Big V Regular Season in 2023.
Anthony Williams, 29-year old American point guard from the Keysborough Cougars, was selected to the First Team of Big V Conference. He is Clark Atlanta alumni from 2018. Williams' best performance made his team reach the final but they were defeated by the Wyndham 100 to 75. He received Player of the Week award three times during the 24 campaign. Williams averaged over 21 points and 6 rebounds per game in the league. He has totalled 12 games of 20 or more points on the year and had 30 or more points in 4 games. Williams recorded double-doubles in 5 games at the event. His 43 points against Bellarine were the most he scored in the 2024 season.
James Legan, 37-year old American guard from the Blackburn Vikings, was chosen to the First Team at the Big V Conference. He is ex the East Carolina from 2009. Legan logged over 5 rebounds per game that season in the league. He led the Big V in points per game with 28. Legan has totalled 19 games of 20 or more points on the year and registered 30 or more points in 10 games. He notched double-doubles in 2 games at the event. Legan's 43 points against the Hume City were the most he scored in the 2024 season. Steve Wooten Jr., 25-year old American forward from the Mckinnon Cougars, was named to the First Team of Big V Conference. He is alumni of the Bethesda from 2021. Wooten Jr.'s best performance made his team reach the final but they lost against the Wyndham 79 to 80. He recorded 22 points and almost 8 rebounds per game over the season in the league. Wooten Jr. has totalled 13 games of 20 or more points on the year and registered 30 or more points in 6 games. He had double-doubles in 6 games at the event. Wooten Jr.'s 37 points against Shepparton were the most he scored in the 2024 season. As evident, the league is predominantly led by former college players, with all top 10 scorers having graduated from US schools. Among many awards Wooten Jr.'s team made it to the Mongolian League Semifinals in 2023. He was selected to the NCCAA D1 Second Team All-Americans back in 2021 during his college time.
The standout forward Adetomi Ayilara earned a spot in the First Team of the championship-winning Wyndham Devils. He graduated from the Cloud County five years ago. Ayilara's excellent performance assisted his team in beating McKinnon 2 to 0 in the final series. He averaged almost 15 points and over 8 rebounds per game in the league. Ayilara has totalled 5 games of 20 or more points and recorded double-doubles in 6 games on the year. His 30 points against the Camberwell were the most he scored in the 2024 season. Ayilara's team won the Australian Big V Regular Season in 2023.
