D'lesha Lloyd (ex Timisoara) agreed terms with Flames

Rockingham City Flames (SBL) inked 31-year old American guard D'lesha Lloyd (179-86, college: Clemson). She played recently at played at CSM Timisoara in Romanian Liga I. In 26 games she recorded very impressive stats: 20.3ppg, 6.3rpg, 3.2apg and 2.7spg this season. The last summer Lloyd played at Capitals (QBL) where in 14 games she averaged remarkable 20.4ppg, 7.7rpg, 2.8apg and 2.3spg.
Among other achievements she received Eurobasket.com All-Norwegian Kvinneligaen Player of the Year award and Eurobasket.com All-Norwegian Kvinneligaen Defensive Player of the Year award back in 2012.
Lloyd is a very experienced player. She has quite traveled the world as her pro career brought her to six different countries on three different continents (Europe, Australia and of course North America). Lloyd has played previously professionally in Cyprus (Petrolina AEK Larnaca), France (Tarbes and Arras), Germany, Portugal (Lombos Quinta), Norway (Gimle Pride) and Australia (Boomers, Boomers, Bears and Lions).
She attended Clemson University until 2008 and it is her tenth season in pro basketball.
Lloyd's game is described as: Became an everyday starter in 2006-07 and took full advantage of the increased responsibilities. D'Lesha improved all aspects of her game while switching to the four positions full-time from the position three. She was voted as the Most Valuable Player by her teammates while she led the Lady Tigers with a 14.4 scoring average ...the 14.4 points per game also ranked 12th in the ACC. At the same time she averaged 6.5 rebounds per game, second-best on the team and 15th in the conference. Lastly, she scored in double figures in 24 games in 2006-07.
