Adelaide inks Penina Davidson, ex Harbour B.

Adelaide Link Lightning (WNBL) agreed terms with 22-year old New Zealander international forward Penina Davidson (190-95, college: California). She played this summer at North Harbour Breeze in New Zealand WBC league. In 5 games she had very impressive stats: 15.6ppg, 11.6rpg, 2.8apg, 2.6spg and 1.0bpg.
Davidson just graduated from University of California and it will be her first season as a pro.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others her team made it to the Pac-12 Tournament Semifinals in 2016. Davidson was also voted Asia-Basket.com All-William Jones Cup 2nd Team back in 2015 at her college time.
Davidson represented New Zealand at the Olympic Games Additional Qualifying Round in Nantes eighteen years ago. Her stats at that event were 2 games: 7.0ppg, 4.0rpg, 1.0apg, Blocks-2 (2.0bpg).
Davidson has played also for other New Zealand teams like NZ Academy, Waitakere West Auckland Rangers, ACM Lady Hawks and Waitakere Lady Rangers.
