Lee Roberts (ex Perth R.) is a second import added to the roster of Aguada

Defending champion Atletico Aguada (LUB) strengthened their roster with addition of 32-year old American power forward Lee Roberts (201-103kg-87, college: Findlay, OH). He is the second import player in the roster as Italian Leandro Garcia Morales signed here earlier.
Roberts played in the summer at Perth Redbacks in Australian SBL. He managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In 6 SBL games he recorded very impressive stats: 25.8ppg, 9.5rpg, 1.7apg and 1.3bpg. The last season Roberts played at San Martin Corrientes (LigaA) in Argentinian league where in 39 games he was second best scorer with 13.6ppg and had 9.2rpg (leader !!!), 1.9apg and 1.1spg. He helped them to make it to the Supercup final. Good season as he was selected League Player of the Week (2 times). Roberts also played 3 games in Liga Americas where he averaged 12.0ppg, 9.0rpg, 2.7apg, 2.0spg and 1.3bpg.
Among other achievements Roberts received Latinbasket.com All-Argentinian TNA Center of the Year award back in 2013.
He is a very experienced player. Thanks to Roberts' pro career he managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America) in seven different countries. Roberts has played previously professionally in Denmark, Germany (SG Braunschweig), Israel (Ironi Nes Ziona), Japan (Shinshu Brave Warriors Nagano), Venezuela (Bucaneros), Italy (Virtus Roma) and Argentina (Libertad Sunchales and Olimpico de La Banda).
He attended University of Findlay until 2009 and it will be his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball.
The scouts decsribe him following way: Athletic big post player that loves to clean up the offensive glass and look for easy dunk put backs. Undertands his role well and will set screens and impact a game in so many ways. Improving jump shot out to the 3pt line.
