New Zealand Breakers (NBL) landed 27-year old New Zealander international swingman Ethan Rusbatch (196-92, college: Lincoln Trail CC). It is actually his comeback to New Zealand Breakers as he has played here before. Rusbatch played in the summer at Hawks in New Zealand NBL league. In 19 games he averaged impressive 20.3ppg, 5.0rpg and 2.2apg. Rusbatch helped them to make it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team. It was a very successful season in his career as he was selected to Australiabasket.com All-New Zealand NBL Honorable Mention and All-Domestic Players Team.
Rusbatch's team won New Zealand NBL Regular Season in 2016.
He has been also a member of New Zealand international program for some years. Rusbatch has regularly played for New Zealand senior team since 2017 and previously for U18 National Team in 2009.
He represented New Zealand at the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast (Australia) last year. Rusbatch's team won Bronze and his stats at that event were 4 games: 3.0ppg, 1.5rpg, 1.0apg.
Rusbatch has played also professionally in New Zealand for Rams.
He attended Lincoln Trail College until 2012 and it will be his eighth season in pro basketball.
