New Zealand Breakers (NBL) agreed terms with 27-year old naturalized South Sudanese forward Deng Deng (203-98kg-92, college: Baylor, agency: Slash Sports). He played last season at MKS Dabrowa Gornicza in Polish EBL league. In 10 games he had 12.5ppg, 7.2rpg and 1.2apg. Deng also played for Kings that season where in 19 NBL games he recorded 2.2ppg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals.
Deng was voted NJCAA All-Region XIV 2nd Team back in 2014 at his college time.
Deng represented Australia at the World University Games in Gwangju (South Korea) four years ago. His stats at that event were 7 games: 4.6ppg, 2.1rpg.
Deng is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in five different countries. Deng tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Australia and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Finland (Korihait), Lebanon (Tadamon and Louaize), Qatar (Al Shamal), Australia (Cougars) and NBA G League (Texas Legends).
Deng attended Baylor University until 2015 and it will be his fifth season as a professional player.

He has signed as an injury replacement for Rob Loe.
