Former international point guard Josh Wilcher (178-91, college: Cent.Wyoming, currently plays in United Kingdom) was the major contributor in a Plymouth Raiders' victory against the league outsider Manchester Giants 96-90 in the British BBL on Sunday night. He scored 20 points, made 4 passes and 3 steals in 43 minutes. Wilcher has very impressive stats this year: 16.6ppg, 2.9rpg, 7.1apg and 1.2spg in 10 games. He used to play for the Australian national team eleven years ago. #12. University international guard Dejan Vasiljevic (190-97, currently studies in the States) helped Miami, FL win their game against the Syracuse University 69-65 in the NCAA on Saturday night. Vasiljevic recorded 17 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. He averaged so far 13.2ppg, 4.3rpg and 1.1apg. Vasiljevic is also in the roster of the Australian university national team. #13. University international guard Jonah Antonio (196-97, is currently at the American university), who plays in the NCAA couldn't help the UNLV (12-6) in their last game. Despite his good performance the UNLV lost 61-67 in Boise to the State University. Antonio scored 13 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 33 minutes. He has averaged so far 6.9ppg and 2.4rpg in 25 games. Antonio is also Australian university national team player. #14. Former international point guard Daniel Dillon (193-86, college: Arizona, currently plays in Poland) couldn't help Polpharma in their game against BM Slam Stal in the Polish EBL. He recorded 7 points and added 6 passes. His team was crushed by 40 points 106-66. This season Dillon has very high stats. He averages: 17.0ppg, 2.5rpg, 4.0apg and 2.0spg. Dillon used to play for the Australian national team back in 2009. #15. International center Harrison Froling (211-98, college: Marquette, currently plays in Poland) couldn't help one of league's weakest teams Spojnia Stargard in their game against Start in the Polish EBL. He recorded 5 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 18 minutes. His team lost 71-83. Froling has averaged so far 4.0ppg and 4.5rpg in two games. He is also in the roster of the Australian national team. The list of other players, who all have Australian passport but never been selected to any of Australian national teams: #1. Dominic Gilbert (198-G/F-96, agency: Slash Sports, college: UBC, currently plays in Croatia). He could not help KK Zadar (18-3) to beat Gorica (15-6). Gilbert scored 7 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 32 minutes. The league leader KK Zadar was edged 74-73 on the road by the lower-ranked (#4) Gorica. It was KK Zadar's first loss after three consecutive victories. His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Gilbert's stats this year are: 11.4ppg, 5.9rpg and 1.8apg in 20 games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Australian and Croatian. #2. Rasmus Bach (193-G-95, college: Fort Lewis, currently plays in Denmark) was not able to help Randers (18-5) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Bach's very good performance the second-placed Randers (18-5) was defeated in an overtime 94-88 at home by the lower-ranked Naestved (#4) in the Pro A group. He recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and getting 10 rebounds. Bach also added 3 assists and 3 steals (made all of his six free throws). Bach averaged so far 12.4ppg, 6.1rpg, 2.4apg and 1.5spg. He is another player who holds two passports: Australian and Danish. #3. Robbie Heath (190-G, currently plays in NCAA2) led West Chester University to a victory against the Lock Haven University (4-12) 83-73 in the NCAA2 in Monday night's game. Heath scored 33 points (!!!) in 35 minutes. The West Chester University has a solid 11-7 record this season. The Regular Season already ended in the NCAA2. Heath has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 23.6ppg, 7.3rpg, 2.6apg and 1.6spg in 28 games. #4. Cameron Healy (190-G, currently plays college basketball in the States), who plays in the NCAA was not able to secure a victory for the Albany (7-8) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Healy's very good performance his team was edged 76-73 on their home court in Albany by the Stony Brook University. He recorded 28 points (!!!) and grabbed 4 rebounds. The Regular Season already ended in the NCAA. Healy averaged so far 13.8ppg, 4.0rpg and 2.2apg. #5. Mason Peatling (203-F-97, currently studies in the States) contributed to an easy victory against the Idaho State University (3-14) crushing them 100-75 in the NCAA in Thursday night's game. Peatling recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and getting 14 rebounds. He also added 7 assists. The Eastern Washington University has a very good 14-4 conference record this season. The Regular Season already ended in the NCAA. Peatling plays fourth season for the team. This year Peatling has very high stats. He averages: 17.2ppg, 9.1rpg, 3.2apg and 1.5bpg. #6. Experienced Josh Green (198-SF-0, is currently at the American university) contributed to an Arizona's surprising victory against the Washington State University crushing them 83-62 in the NCAA last Thursday. Green scored 12 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 28 minutes. His stats this year are: 11.7ppg, 4.6rpg, 2.6apg and 1.5spg in 29 games. #7. Timothy Kearney (201-F/G-86, currently plays in Sweden) managed to help BC Lulea to win against the league outsider Djurgarden crushing them 110-73 in the Swedish Basketligan in Monday night's game. Kearney scored 5 points and added 4 assists. He has averaged so far 4.6ppg and 2.7rpg. Kearney has both Australian and Swedish nationalities. #8. Damian Prgomet (208-F, currently plays in NCAA2) couldn't help the Southwest Baptist University (13-7) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the Southwest Baptist University lost 68-80 in Indianapolis to the University of. Prgomet had a double-double by scoring 17 points and getting 10 rebounds in 31 minutes. His stats this year are: 13.1ppg, 7.6rpg and 1.6bpg in 27 games. #9. Hunter Marks (206-F, currently plays college basketball in the States) contributed to Hartford's victory against the University of Massachusetts - Lowell 89-75 in the NCAA on Saturday night. Marks recorded 17 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. He averaged so far 10.4ppg, 6.1rpg and 1.5apg. #10. Grant Anticevich (203-F, currently plays college basketball in the States) couldn't help the California in their game against the Oregon State University in the NCAA. Anticevich recorded 6 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in 33 minutes. His team was badly defeated by 18 points 74-56. He has averaged so far 8.7ppg, 5.4rpg and 1.3apg in 30 games.
