Sydney Kings (NBL) inked 30-year old American point guard Casper Ware (178-80kg-90, college: LBSU). It is actually his comeback to Kings as he has played here before. Ware played in the summer at Team Challenge ALS (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. The last season he played at Kings (Australian NBL) where in 34 games he averaged impressive 17.9ppg, 2.4rpg and 3.7apg. Ware helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. A very good season in his career as he was selected to Australiabasket.com All-Australian NBL 2nd Team.
Ware is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to eight different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Australia and of course North America). Ware has played previously professionally in China (Pioneers), France (ASVEL Lyon Villeurbanne Basket), Germany (EWE Baskets), Italy (Casale), Poland (BM Slam Stal), NBA (Portland Trail Blazers, Brooklyn Nets, Philadelphia 76ers and Washington Wizards), Australia (United) and The Basketball Tournament (LA Cheaters).
Among many awards he won Australian NBL championship title in 2018. Ware received also All-Big West Player of the Year award back in 2011 and 2012 at his college time.
He attended Long Beach State University until 2012 and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball.
Ware's game is described as: A sparkling kind of PG, who has a little body but is very effective in creating for teammates. A defensive specialist, he puts a lot of pressure on the ball and on opposite guards.

Sydney Kings roster for 2020-2021:
