   #1. This week's number one is former international power forward Ben Simmons (208-96, college: LSU, currently plays in NBA). He could not help the Philadelphia 76ers (9-5) in their last game. Despite Simmons' good performance the Philadelphia 76ers (9-5) were edged 106-104 on the road by the Memphis Grizzlies. He had a double-double by scoring 11 points and getting 16 rebounds. Simmons also added 9 assists in 36 minutes on the court. It's Simmons' fifth season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Simmons averages: 12.3ppg, 9.3rpg, 8.0apg, 1.5spg, 2FGP: 51.4% and FT: 63.2% in 12 games he played so far. He played for the Australian senior national team seven years ago.

   #2. Second place goes to an experienced former international point guard Patrick Mills (183-88, college: St.Mary's, CA, currently plays in NBA). Mills was not able to help the San Antonio Spurs (7-6) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his very good performance the San Antonio Spurs (7-6) were defeated 96-88 in Minnesota by the Timberwolves. Mills recorded 18 points and added 4 assists. Mills is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his ninth year in Spurs' roster. This season he has very high stats. Mills averages: 14.2ppg, 1.7rpg, 3.2apg, 2FGP: 48.2%, 3FGP: 43.7% and FT: 89.5%. He played for the Australian national team in 2019.

   #3. The Australian player who performed third best last week abroad was former international power forward Brock Motum (208-90, college: WSU, currently plays in Turkey). Motum was the major contributor in Galatasaray's victory against one of league's weakest teams OGM Orman (6-12) 89-87 in the Turkish BSL in Saturday night's game. He scored 15 points. Galatasaray Odeabank Istanbul (15-2) is placed second in the BSL. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Motum's first season with the team. This year Motum has very high stats. He averages: 15.1ppg, 3.5rpg, 2.1apg, 2FGP: 55.8%(63-113), 3FGP: 48.4%(30-62) and FT: 93.0%(40-43). Motum played for the Australian national team five years ago.

   #4. Small forward Joe Ingles (203-87, currently plays in NBA) contributed to an Utah Jazz's victory against the Detroit Pistons (3-9) 96-86 in the NBA last Sunday. He recorded 9 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 24 minutes. The Utah Jazz has a solid 9-4 record this season. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. He scored 5 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 30 minutes. Real Betis was crushed 103-76 in Vitoria by the much higher-ranked (#3) Baskonia. This year Kay's total stats are: 9.2ppg, 6.3rpg and 1.2apg in 19 games. He is a former international player as he played for the Australian senior team two years ago.

   #7. Former U19 international forward Jacob Rigoni (198-98, currently plays college basketball in the States), who plays in the NCAA couldn't help the Quinnipiac (1-3) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the Quinnipiac lost 80-92 at home to the Monmouth University. Rigoni had a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 14 rebounds in 35 minutes. Rigoni plays fourth season for the team. This year he has relatively solid stats: 10.9ppg, 7.5rpg and 1.1apg in eight games. Rigoni used to play for the Australian U19 national team five years ago.

   #8. Forward Keli Leaupepe (198-0, currently studies in the States) led LMU to a victory against the University of San Francisco (3-3) 68-60 in the NCAA on Sunday night. He recorded 19 points and grabbed 5 rebounds (made all of his eleven free throws !!!) in 25 minutes. The Loyola Marymount University has 1-1 conference record this season. Leaupepe has reliable stats this year: 10.3ppg and 4.5rpg in 10 games. He used to play for the Australian U19 national team back in 2019.

   #9. Former U19 international forward Lat Mayen Nai (206-98, is currently at the American university), who plays in the NCAA couldn't help the Nebraska (0-5) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Mayen Nai's very good performance the Nebraska was defeated 84-76 in Bloomington by the Indiana University. He recorded 15 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Mayen Nai has averaged so far 7.3ppg and 4.8rpg. He used to play for the Australian U19 national team five years ago.

   #10. Center Duop Reath (210-96, college: LSU, currently plays in Euroleague) couldn't help Crvena Zvezda (6-13) in their game against Valencia Basket (11-9) in the Euroleague. He cannot count Friday's game as one of the best ones. Reath scored only 2 points. Crvena Zvezda was badly defeated 91-71 in Valencia by the much higher-ranked Basket (#7). Reath has averaged so far 4.8ppg and 1.8rpg. He is a former university international player as four years ago he still played for the Australian national team.

   #11. Former University international center Jock Perry (216-97, currently plays college basketball in the States) contributed to an easy victory against the Cal Poly - San Luis Obispo University 70-53 in the NCAA in Saturday night's game. Perry recorded 17 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 28 minutes. Perry's stats this year are: 11.6ppg and 5.1rpg in nine games. He used to play for the Australian university national team two years ago.

   #12. Former University international guard Jonah Antonio (196-97, currently plays college basketball in the States), who plays in the NCAA couldn't help the Wake Forest (0-5) in their last game. Despite his good performance the Wake Forest lost 65-77 in Louisville to the University of. Antonio recorded 11 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists (made all of his five free throws) in 34 minutes. Antonio has averaged so far 7.7ppg, 2.3rpg and 1.3spg in seven games. He used to play for the Australian university national team back in 2019.

   #13. Former international point guard Josh Wilcher (178-91, college: Cent.Wyoming, currently plays in United Kingdom) couldn't help Bristol Acadamy Flyers in their game against Worcester Wolves in the British BBL. He scored 9 points. It was his first game for Bristol Acadamy Flyers this season. His team was edged 76-73. Wilcher used to play for the Australian national team twelve years ago.

   #14. Former U19 international swingman Tyler Robertson (198-0, currently plays college basketball in the States) couldn't help the EWU in their game against the Southern Utah University in the NCAA. Despite his good performance in Saturday night's game He recorded 12 points and added 5 passes. Robertson's stats this season are: 11.6ppg, 4.1rpg and 2.7apg. He used to play for the Australian U19 national team back in 2019.

   #15. Former international center Aron Baynes (208-86, college: WSU, currently plays in NBA) managed to help Toronto Raptors in a 3-point victory against the Charlotte Hornets 111-108 in the NBA last Thursday. Baynes scored only 2 points in 8 minutes on the court. Baynes has averaged so far 4.3ppg and 4.9rpg in nine games. He used to play for the Australian national team two years ago.

   #1. Matthew McCarthy (205-PF-96, college: USF, currently plays in Romania) led Voluntari to a victory over the closely-ranked Targu Jiu (0-3) crushing them 105-70 in the Romanian Liga Nationala on Friday night. McCarthy was MVP of the game. He scored 22 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 22 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only McCarthy's second season in pro basketball. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. CSO Voluntari (2-1) is placed second in the Liga Nationala. The Regular Season already ended. It's McCarthy's first year with the team. This season his overall stats are: 8.0ppg and 5.6rpg in seven games he played so far.

   #2. Lachlan Anderson (206-F-97, college: EKU, currently plays in Balkan League) was the major contributor in a TFT Skopje's victory against the closely-ranked Teodo Tivat (4-5) 104-86 in the Balkan League on Wednesday night. Anderson scored 18 points and grabbed 6 rebounds; not bad, considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. KK TFT Skopje (3-6) is placed sixth in the Balkan League. It was his team's first victory after five consecutive loses. There are only two games left until the end of the Balkan League Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Anderson has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 20.2ppg, 4.4rpg, 1.1apg and 1.2spg.

   #3. Experienced Marial Mading (211-F-0, college: Pacific, currently plays in Serbia) could not help Radnicki KG (6-9) in their last game on Thursday. Despite his good performance Radnicki KG was crushed 124-88 on the road by the second-ranked Zlatibor. Mading was the second best scorer with 14 points. He also added 2 blocks. Mading's total stats this season are: 7.0ppg and 1.5rpg.

   #4. Bul Kuol (201-G/F-96, currently plays college basketball in the States) contributed to a 3-point Detroit's victory against the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay (6-2) 68-65 in the NCAA in Saturday night's game. Kuol recorded 22 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. The University of Detroit Mercy has rather weak 2-4 conference record this season. This year Kuol has very high stats. He averages: 16.2ppg, 4.5rpg, 1.6apg and 1.2spg. Kuol has a dual citizenship: Australian and South Sudanese.

   #5. Josh Green (196-G-0, college: Arizona, currently plays in NBA) managed to help Dallas Mavericks to win against the Charlotte Hornets (6-8) 104-93 in the NBA on Wednesday night. He recorded 5 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. The Dallas Mavericks have 6-6 record this season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Green has averaged so far 1.5ppg and 2.0rpg.

   #6. Grant Anticevich (203-F, currently studies in the States) contributed to California's victory against the University of Utah 72-63 in the NCAA in Saturday night's game. He recorded 14 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 31 minutes. Anticevich has averaged so far 9.4ppg, 5.1rpg and 1.4apg in 11 games.

   #7. Dominic Gilbert (198-G/F-96, college: UBC, currently plays in Holland) was not able to help Den Bosch in their game against Den Helder in the Dutch DBL. He scored 8 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. It was his first game for Den Bosch this season. His team was defeated 94-86. Gilbert is another player who holds two passports: Australian and Croatian.

   #8. Uche Dibiamaka (193-G, is currently at the American university) contributed to an easy victory against the Dixie State University crushing them 82-49 in the NCAA last Friday. Dibiamaka scored 15 points and added 3 assists in 21 minutes. Dibiamaka has averaged so far 7.8ppg, 3.4rpg and 1.8apg in 11 games.

   #9. Wil Tattersall (196-SG, currently plays college basketball in the States) contributed to an easy victory against the Cal Poly - San Luis Obispo University crushing them 86-51 in the NCAA last Friday. Tattersall scored 19 points. Tattersall has averaged so far 9.0ppg, 2.1rpg and 1.3apg.

   #10. Junior Madut (196-G, currently plays college basketball in the States) was not able to secure a victory for the one of league's weakest teams Hawaii in their game against the California State University Bakersfield in the NCAA. Despite his good performance in Friday night's game Madut recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added and 3 steals. Madut's stats this season are: 10.2ppg, 5.0rpg, 2.2apg and 1.2spg.
