Central District Lions (NBL1 Central) landed forward Shaquille Maharaj (196-, college: Camosun). He played last summer at East Perth Eagles. In 13 QBL games he averaged impressive 20.8ppg, 5.6rpg, 2.7apg and 2.5spg. Maharaj's team made it to the PacWest Tournament Semifinals for three years in a row ( between 2018 and 2020). He received All-PacWest 1st Team award in 2020 at his college time.
Maharaj graduated from Camosun College in 2020 and it will be his second season in pro basketball.
