Pirot signs Venkatesha Jois

KK Pirot (KLS) signed 27-year old Australian forward Venkatesha Jois (203cm-104kg-93, college: EWU). He is the second import player in the roster as USA Demonte Flannigan signed here earlier.
Jois played last season at Memphis Hustle (NBA G League) in the U.S. In 18 NBA-G-League games he had 5.9ppg and 3.8rpg.
Jois won NBA G League Midwest Division championship title.
The previous (2019) summer Jois played at Rangers where in 13 New Zealand games he recorded very impressive stats: 20.4ppg, 11.5rpg (leader !!!), 2.5apg and 1.6spg in 2019 season. Good year as he was named League Player of the Week.
Jois is quite experienced player. He has played in five different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Australia and of course North America). Jois has played previously professionally in Croatia (KK Vrijednosnice Osijek), Estonia (Tartu), Germany (Rasta Vechta), Japan (Shiga L-Stars) and Australia (United).
He was voted CoSIDA NCAA Division I Academic All-District 8 1st Team back in 2016 at his college time.
He attended Eastern Washington University until 2016 and it will be his sixth season as a professional player.
Jois could be described: Venky is a very athletic post player who can score off the drive and shot. He is also a great rebounder. Can spend some time at 5 position too, due to his toughness and his game 'taller than his height'.
