Adelaide 36ers (NBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 29-year old American swingman Brandon Paul (193cm-91kg-91, college: Illinois, agency: Pensack Sports). He started the season at Zhejiang Golden Bulls in Chinese CBA league. In 12 games he recorded 10.3ppg, 2.9rpg, 1.3apg and 1.0spg. The last summer Paul played at Team Hines in U.S. semi-pro league The Basketball Tournament.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
Paul is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Greece (Olympiacos), Russia (BC Nizhny Novgorod), Spain (Joventut), Turkey (Anadolu Efes), NBA (Philadelphia 76ers and San Antonio Spurs) and NBA G League (Canton Charge).
Among many awards Paul's team made it to the Gomelsky Cup final in 2020. He received also Eurobasket.com Spanish Liga Endesa All-Imports Team award back in 2016.
Paul attended University of Illinois until 2013 and it is his ninth season in pro basketball.
