There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in Local League. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The most surprising game was a loss of Steelers in Western Port on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by Thunder 68-58. Thunder forced 20 Steelers turnovers and outrebounded them 53-42 including a 19-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Luke Sist had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 28 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Matt Spencer chipped in 10 points, 5 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Thunder's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Matthew Turner (210-87) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds. Thunder is looking forward to face Magic in Hawthorn in the next round. Steelers will play on the road against Devils in Werribee and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Very significant was Jets' 23-point road victory against Devils 81-58. American forward Trevon Clayton (198, college: Fresno Pacific) notched a double-double by scoring 14 points and 16 rebounds to lead the effort and Ivanne Loncaric supported him with 12 points and 9 rebounds. Even 17 points by Aaron Dolny did not help to save the game for Devils. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Jets will play against Hume City Broncos in Tullamarine in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Devils will play at home against Steelers to get more than just one victory in their record.

In the last game of round 2 winless Hawthorn M. lost to undefeated Casey C. on the opponent's court 67-87.
