Defending champion Perth Wildcats (NBL) added to their roster 22-year old Australian forward Will Magnay (208cm-107kg-98, college: Tulsa). He moved there from New Orleans Pelicans in the NBA where he played this season. But in only one game he did not score anything. Magnay also played for BayHawks in U.S. NBA-G-League. In 10 games he recorded 9.1ppg, 5.4rpg, 1.8apg and 1.5bpg.
He represented Australia at the World University Games in Napoli (Italy) two years ago. Magnay's team won Bronze and his stats at that event were 6 games: 9.2ppg, 7.5rpg, 2.0apg, FGP: 60.0%, 3PT: 50.0%, FT: 54.5%.
Magnay has played previously for three other Australia teams: Bullets, Brisbane Spartans, and Brisbane Capitals.
He attended University of Tulsa in 2016-17 and it is his fourth season as a professional player.
