Townsville Fire (WNBL) signed 22-year old American guard Sug Sutton (180cm-98, college: Texas). Sutton played last season at 1KS Sleza Wroclaw in Polish EBLK. In 18 games she was league's fourth best scorer with impressive 18.7ppg and averaged 5.3rpg, 6.9apg (top 2) and 1.4spg previous season. 2020-21 was a great year as she was named to Eurobasket.com All-Polish EBLK Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week.
Last year she was drafted by Washington Mystics (WNBA) in third round (25th overall).
She attended University of Texas until 2020 and it will be her second season in pro basketball.
