   #1. This week's number one is former University international center Gorjok Gak (211-96, college: CBU, currently plays in Czech Republic). He contributed to an easy victory against the sixth-ranked Brno (4-4) 88-70 in the Czech Republic NBL in Saturday night's game. Gak had a double-double by scoring 10 points and getting 12 rebounds in 18 minutes on the court. ERA Basketball Nymburk (7-0) is placed first in the NBL. So far his team won all seven games in the Regular Season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Gak's first year with the team. He has relatively good stats this season: 10.3ppg, 8.9rpg, 1.6apg, 1.1bpg, 2FGP: 71.8%(28-39) and FT: 57.1% in seven games he played so far. Gak played for the Australian university national team four years ago.

Thon Maker
Thon Maker
   #2. Second place goes to former international center Thon Maker (216-97, currently plays in Israel). Maker contributed to a Hapoel Jerusalem's victory against the tenth-ranked Galil Elion (0-1) 83-69 in the Israeli Winner League in Sunday night's game. He recorded 6 points, 9 rebounds and 2 blocks. It was his first game for Hapoel Jerusalem this season. His team is placed fourth in the Winner League. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. Maker has a dual citizenship: Australian and South Sudanese. He played for the Australian national team in 2018.

   #3. The Australian player who performed third best last week abroad was former international forward Craig Moller (206-94, agency: BIG, currently plays in Germany). Moller could not help s Oliver Baskets (3-0) in their last game. Despite his good performance s Oliver Baskets was crushed 95-73 on the road by the much lower-ranked (#15) MBC. Moller was the second best scorer with 14 points. He also added 9 rebounds in 30 minutes. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. It's Moller's first year with the team. This season Moller averages: 6.3ppg, 4.7rpg, 2.0apg, 1.7bpg, 1.3spg, 2FGP: 54.5%, 3FGP: 16.7% in three games. He is another player who holds two passports: Australian and German. Former Sydney Kings starter played for the Australian national team three years ago.

Power forward Nick Kay (206-92, college: MSU Denver, currently plays in Japan) led Shimane SM to a victory against the seventh-ranked Osaka Evessa (3-3) 88-77 in the Japanese B1 League on Saturday night. Kay scored 17 points, grabbed 8 boards, passed 3 assists and added 3 steals. in group West. Shimane Susanoo Magic (4-2) is placed fourth. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. Kay's overall stats this season are: 9.7ppg, 6.0rpg, 3.0apg and 2.2spg. He is also Australian national team player.

   #5. Former international forward Brock Motum (208-90, college: WSU, currently plays in Euroleague) was not able to help Monaco in their game against Real Madrid (3-1) in the Euroleague. Motum scored 5 points in 12 minutes. Monaco lost 86-94 in Madrid to the higher-ranked (#6) Real. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. This year Motum's overall stats are: 5.3ppg and 1.7rpg in three games. He used to play for the Australian national team five years ago.

Center Angus Brandt (208-89, college: Oregon St., currently plays in Japan) led Kagawa FA to a victory over the sixth-ranked Bambitious Nara (2-4) 80-67 in the Japanese B2 League on Sunday night. He was MVP of the game. Brandt had a double-double by scoring 26 points and getting 16 rebounds. He also added 5 assists in 37 minutes. in group West. Kagawa Five Arrows (4-2) are placed third. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. It's Brandt's first year with the team. Brandt has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 19.3ppg, 9.0rpg and 3.8apg in six games. Brandt is a former international player as he played for the Australian senior team three years ago.

   #7. Former international forward Rhys Vague (206-96, currently plays in Japan) is a teammate of previously mentioned Angus Brandt and both played together in the last Japanese B2 League game. Vague helped Kagawa FA win their game against the sixth-ranked Bambitious Nara (2-4) 80-67. He had a double-double by scoring 16 points and getting 15 rebounds. Vague also added 8 assists and 3 blocks in 40 minutes. It's Vague's first season with the team. This year his total stats are: 9.8ppg, 11.3rpg and 4.3apg in six games. Vague used to play for the Australian national team eight years ago.

   #1. Experienced Jackson Makoi (196-G-0, college: Daytona St., currently plays in ABA League) could not help Osijek (0-2) in their last game on Tuesday. Despite his very good performance the bottom-ranked Osijek was defeated 82-74 on the road by the higher-ranked Spars (#8). Makoi was the second best scorer with 15 points. He also added 8 rebounds and 6 assists. But the season just started, so everything may happen. This year Makoi has relatively solid stats: 10.3ppg, 8.9rpg, 1.6apg and 1.1bpg. He has a dual citizenship: Australian and South Sudanese.

   #2. Kuany Kuany (201-G-94, college: Chaminade, currently plays in Croatia) is a teammate of previously mentioned Jackson Makoi. But that was another game of his team in Croatian Premijer Liga which we would like to mention. Kuany led Osijek to a 1-point victory against the tenth-ranked Dubrava (1-5) 80-79. He scored 16 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 6 assists in 25 minutes. KK Vrijednosnice Osijek (0-1) is placed second in the Premijer Liga. This year Kuany has relatively solid stats: 11.0ppg, 2.3rpg, 3.7apg and 1.3spg in three games he played so far. He is another player who holds two passports: Australian and South Sudanese.

   #3. Dominic Gilbert (201-G/F-96, agency: BIG, college: UBC, currently plays in Croatia) was not able to help Alkar in their last game on Sunday. Despite Gilbert's very good performance his team was badly defeated 104-85 in Zagreb by the second-ranked KK Cedevita Junior. He recorded a double-double by scoring 23 points and getting 10 rebounds. Gilbert also added 4 assists and 5 steals. It's Gilbert's first season with the team. This year he has relatively solid stats: 12.8ppg, 7.6rpg, 3.6apg and 2.8spg. Gilbert has both Australian and Croatian nationalities.

   #4. Matthew McCarthy (205-PF-96, college: USF, currently plays in Portugal) was the major contributor in a Vitoria SC's victory against the league outsider Illiabum (0-4) crushing them 88-62 in the Portuguese LPB in Sunday night's game. He recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and getting 12 rebounds; quite an impressive performance considering it's only McCarthy's third season in pro basketball. Vitoria SC/Costa Guerreiro Lda. (1-2) is placed eighth in the LPB. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. It's McCarthy's first year with the team. This season he has relatively solid stats: 13.0ppg, 8.3rpg, 2.7apg and 1.7spg.

   #5. Venkatesha Jois (203-F-93, college: EWU, currently plays in Slovenia) contributed to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams Zlatorog (0-3) 79-60 in the Slovenian Liga Nova KBM on Sunday night. He scored 8 points. Helios Suns Domzale (2-1) is placed fourth in the Liga Nova KBM. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. Jois has averaged so far 6.0ppg and 2.0rpg.

   #6. Hamish Warden (203-C-99, college: NDC, currently plays in Switzerland) contributed to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams Lugano crushing them 90-64 in the Swiss SBL in Sunday night's game. He scored 9 points in 19 minutes. Warden has averaged so far 6.5ppg and 2.0rpg in two games. He also holds two passports: Australian and Swiss.

   #7. Jesse Hunt (203-F-97, college: EWU, currently plays in Hungary) was not able to secure a victory for Szedeak in their game against OSE Lions in the Hungarian A Division. Hunt cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones. He scored only 3 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. His team was defeated 73-64. Hunt has averaged so far 6.0ppg and 5.8rpg.

   #8. Damian Prgomet (208-C/F-96, college: SW Baptist, currently plays in Spain) led Melilla to an easy victory against the tenth-ranked Carbajosa crushing them 108-74 in the Spanish LEB Silver (third division) on Saturday night. He scored 15 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 32 minutes. Prgomet has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 15.5ppg and 6.5rpg in two games.

   #9. Deng Riak (208-C-95, college: Akron, currently plays in Finland) couldn't help Korihait in their game against Pyrinto in the Finnish Korisliiga. Riak cannot count Wednesday's game as one of the best ones. He recorded only 2 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. His team was defeated 96-90. Riak has averaged so far 7.0ppg and 5.7rpg. He has dual citizenship: South Sudanese and Australian.

   #10. Moses Adepoju (195-F, college: Clarendon CC, currently plays in United Kingdom) couldn't help Rebels in their game against Kestrels in the British NBL D1 (second division). Adepoju cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. He scored only 2 points in 8 minutes on the court. His team was crushed by 67 points 105-38. This year Adepoju averages just 1.0ppg in two games. He holds both Nigerian and Australian passports.
