NZL Breakers keep McDowell-White for another season

New Zealand Breakers (NBL) re-signed 24-year old 196cm guard William McDowell-White (college: Fresno State) for upcoming season. McDowell-White played there last season. In 24 NBL games he recorded 6.6ppg, 3.2rpg and 3.6apg. The last summer he played at Roar (NBL1 North) where in four games he averaged impressive 18.8ppg, 8.5rpg, 8.5apg and 2.5spg in 2021 season.
He represented Australia at the World Championships U19 in McDowell-Whiteraklion (Greece) seven years ago. His stats at that event were 7 games: 7.4ppg, 2.7rpg, 3.7apg, Steals-5 (2.1spg), FGP: 48.1%, 3PT: 38.5%, FT: 78.6%.
He is a very experienced player. McDowell-White has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to four different countries on three different continents (Europe, Australia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Germany (Brose Bamberg and Baunach), NBA G League (Rio Grande Valley Vipers) and NBA Summer League (Houston Rockets).
McDowell-White attended Fresno State until 2017 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball.
