25-year old point guard Tad Dufelmeier (183-PG-1996) put on an amazing game in the last round for Darwin Salties and receives a Hoops Agents State League Player of the Week award for round 27.
He had a double-double of 30 points and 11 rebounds, while his team beat Cairns M. (#10, 4-5) 91-84. Darwin Salties is placed at 3rd position in Australian State League. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Darwin Salties will need more victories to improve their 6-2 record. In the team's last game Dufelmeier had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He just recently signed at Darwin Salties, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Tad Dufelmeier averages this season 19.7ppg, 9.0rpg and 4.3apg.

Second best performed player last round was Majok Deng (205-F-1993) of Ipswich F.. He is South Sudanese forward in his first season at Ipswich F.. In the last game Deng recorded impressive double-double of 31 points and 12 rebounds. Of course he led Ipswich F. to another comfortable win 100-85 over the higher-ranked SC Phoenix (#5, 6-4) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Ipswich F. to move up to 8th position in North. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 5-6 record. Deng is one of the most experienced players at Ipswich F. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Troyce Manassa (193-G-1993, agency: Hamriding Sports Management) of Western Port (#7). Manassa got into 30-points club by scoring 38 points in the last round. He went also for six rebounds and five assists. Despite Manassa's great performance Western Port lost 97-103 to slightly higher-ranked Blackburn V. (#6, 5-9). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Western Port can only dream about fighting for top spots in Big V. They have rather bad season and 2-11 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Manassa has a very solid season. In 13 games in Australia he scored 24.8ppg. He also has 9.0rpg, 3.5apg and FGP: 62.1%.
