Australian State League round 40 best performance: Preston Bungei (by Hoops Agents)

American-Kenyan Forward Preston Bungei (198-F-1995) had a very impressive game in the last round for Ballarat M., receiving a Hoops Agents State League Player of the Week award for round 40.
The 27-year old player was the main contributor (31 points, six rebounds and five assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat NW Tasmania (#11, 9-10) 97-89. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings in South. Ballarat M. is placed at 9th position in Australian State League. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Darwin Salties needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams in North. Their record is 10 victories and 6 lost games. Jamerson has a very solid season. In 16 games in Australia he scored 19.8ppg.
