New Zealand Breakers (NBL) landed 26-year old American 201cm power forward Jarrell Brantley (college: Charleston) for new season. Brantley played this summer at LA Clippers in the NBA Summer League. In 5 games just recently he averaged 7.6ppg, 4.8rpg, 1.8apg, 1.2spg and 1.2bpg.
Three years ago he was drafted by Indiana Pacers (NBA) in second round (50 th overall). The former College of Charleston star is in his fourth season in pro basketball.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in five different countries playing on three different continents. Brantley is familiar with European, Latin American and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally in Puerto Rico (Leones), Russia (Unics), NBA G League (Greensboro Swarm), NBA Summer League (Utah Jazz and Utah Jazz White) and The Basketball Tournament (Friday Beers).
Among many awards he won NBA Summer League in Salt Lake City championship title in 2021. Brantley was voted to USBasket.com NBA G League All-Rookie Team in 2020.
