New Zealand Breakers (NBL) signed 25-year old American small forward Barry Brown Jr. (190cm-88kg-1996, college: of Kansas State) for upcoming 2022-23 season. Brown played last season at Shougang Beijing Ducks in Chinese CBA league. In 5 games he had very impressive stats: 17.4ppg, 3.2rpg and 2.0apg.
He was voted to Big 12 All-Defensive Team back in 2018 and 2019.
The previous (2020-21) season he played at EnBW Ludwigsburg in German BBL where in 33 games he was league's fourth best scorer with 12.7ppg and averaged 2.1rpg and 1.6apg in that year. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the semifinals. 2020-21 was a great season as he was named to Eurobasket.com All-German Bundesliga Honorable Mention.
He has played also professionally in NBA G League (Iowa Wolves).
Brown graduated from of Kansas State in 2019 and it will be his fourth season as a professional player.
