Experienced International Guard Jason Cadee (186-G-1991) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's second-best Gold Coast R. and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents State League Player of the Week award for round 41.
The 31-year old guard got a double-double of 43 points and ten assists, while his team beat Logan T. (#7, 10-8) 102-90. Gold Coast R. maintains the 2nd position in their group in Australian State League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Gold Coast R. will need more victories to improve their 13-5 record. In the team's last game Cadee had a remarkable 92.3% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He turned to be Gold Coast R.'s top player in his first season with the team. Cadee has impressive league stats. He is league's best passer with 8.2apg. Cadee is in league's top in and averages solid 54.3% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was forward Callum Jenkins (F) of Cent.Coast C.. Jenkins impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 42 points and 18 rebounds. It was enough for Cent.Coast C. to edge slightly lower-ranked Bankstown B. (#12, 5-14) by 6 points 98-92. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the top position in East. Cent.Coast C. keeps 11th position. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 7-12 record. Jenkins is one of the most experienced players at Cent.Coast C. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was American Troyce Manassa (193-G-1993, agency: Hamriding Sports Management) of Western Port (#6). Manassa got into 30-points club by scoring 34 points in the last round. He went also for sixteen rebounds and ten assists. He was a key player of Western Port, leading his team to a 95-85 win against slightly higher-ranked Camberwell (#5, 9-11). The chances of Western Port not to end season at such low position in Big V, however are less than slim as they have already lost 13 games, recording just six victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Manassa could try to bring Western Port's a little bit higher in the standings. Manassa has individually a great season in Australia. After 19 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 26.2ppg (8th best). He also has 2.2spg and FGP: 62.3%.
