Miela Goodchild signs at Mt Gambier

Mount-Gambier-Pioneers (NBL1 South) landed 22-year-old 178cm guard Miela Goodchild (college: Duke) for the upcoming season. Goodchild played recently at Melbourne Boomers in the WNBL. In 11 games she averaged 6.1ppg and 2.4rpg this season.

She represented Australia at the World Cup U19 in Bangkok (Thailand) four years ago. Goodchild's team won Silver and her stats at that event were 7 games: 4.7ppg, 1.7rpg.

Goodchild graduated from Duke University in 2022 and it is her first season in pro basketball.
