The 31-year old player had a double-double of 41 points and 15 rebounds, while his team crushed USC Rip (#12, 4-6) with 23-point margin 120-97. Gold Coast R. maintains the 2nd position in Australian NBL One. They are still close to the very top. Gold Coast R. would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 12-2 record. In the team's last game Blanchfield had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Gold Coast R., being already a very valuable addition to the team. Todd Blanchfield averages this season 20.9ppg and 11.1rpg. The second best player in last round's games was young Sudanese Kouat Noi (201-F-1997) of USC Rip. Noi had a very good evening with a double-double of 45 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as USC Rip lost that game 97-120 to the higher-ranked Gold Coast R. (#2, 12-2). USC Rip managed to keep the same 12th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-6 record. Noi is one of the most experienced players at USC Rip and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. Third on the list of top players last round was forward Jack Purchase (203-F-1995) of Melbourne T. (#16). Purchase got into 30-points club by scoring 36 points in the last round. He went also for eight rebounds and six assists. He was a key player of Melbourne T., leading his team to a 106-88 easy win against the higher-ranked Ballarat M. (#12, 6-8). The chances of Melbourne T. not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 9 games, recording just five victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Purchase could try to bring Melbourne T.'s a little bit higher in the standings. Purchase has a very solid season. In 14 games in Australia he scored 18.2ppg. He also has 5.3rpg, 4.2apg and 1.3bpg. Other top performing players last week: 4. Hayden Blankley (198-G-2000) of Bankstown B. - 29 points, 17 rebounds and 8 assists 5.
