Jason Cadee claims Australian NBL One Hoops Agents weekly honour- June 12, 2023
The 31-year old guard got a double-double of 52 points and thirteen assists, while his team crushed Darwin S. (#7, 7-7) with 17-point margin 110-93. Gold Coast R. maintains the 2nd position in Australian NBL One. They are still close to the very top. Gold Coast R. would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 12-2 record. In the team's last game Cadee had a remarkable 60.0% from 2-point range and got nine three-pointers out of 14 attempts. He just recently signed at Gold Coast R., being already a very valuable addition to the team. Cadee has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (5th best: 28.0ppg) and averages solid 52.7% FGP and 40.6% from behind 3-point line. The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Sudanese swingman Makuach Maluachx (200-F/G-1998) of Darwin S.. Maluachx impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 40 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Darwin S. lost that game 93-110 to the higher-ranked Gold Coast R. (#2, 12-2). This loss caused Darwin S. to drop to 7th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 7-7 record is not bad and everything may still change. Maluachx is one of the most experienced players at Darwin S. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. The third best performed player last round was Gavin Field (202-F/G-1989) of Cockburn C. (#10). Field showcased his all-around game by recording 25 points, eight rebounds and ten assists (!!!) in the last round. He was a key player of Cockburn C., leading his team to a 117-97 easy win against the lower-ranked Mandurah M. (#14, 2-13). The chances of Cockburn C. ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 8 games, recording just six victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Field could help Cockburn C. to bring them higher in the standings. Field has a very solid season. In 14 games in Australia he scored 15.4ppg. He also has 4.9rpg, 3.1apg, FGP: 54.1% and 3PT: 44.0%. Other top performing players last week: 4. C.J. Bobbitt (201-F/C-1997) of Mandurah M. - 35 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists 5. Michael Cedar (190-SG-1986) of Townsville H. - 29 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists 6. Nathan Sobey (190-G-1990) of Ipswich F. - 26 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists 7. Devondrick Walker (196-G-1992) of Rockingham F. - 41 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists 8. Ray Turner (206-F-1990) of Mandurah M. - 30 points and 15 rebounds 9. Caleb Davis (206-F-1995) of Warwick S. - 31 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists 10. Lee Roberts (203-F/C-1987) of East Perth E. - 22 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc. The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
