New Zealand Breakers (NBL) agreed terms with 25-year old American guard Justinian Jessup (201cm-92kg-1998, college: Boise State) for new 2023-24 season. Jessup played last season at Casademont Zaragoza in Spanish Liga Endesa. In 28 games he had 11.6ppg, 2.9rpg and 1.1apg. Good season as he was named League Player of the Week.
He ended the previous (2022) season at the Warriors in NBA where in two games he recorded 3.5ppg, 1.0rpg and 1.0apg in 2022 year. But the most of that year he spent at the Warriors in NBA. In three games he averaged 8.3ppg and 2.3rpg in 2022 year.
Three years ago he was drafted by Golden State Warriors (NBA) in second round (51st overall). He graduated from Boise State in 2020 and it will be his fourth season in pro basketball.
He has played previously for Australian team Hawks. Jessup was voted to Northern League Athlete of the Year back in 2015 and 2016.
