Tapiolan Honka (Korisliiga) agreed terms with 23-year old American guard Tayanna Jones (185cm-2000, college: Colorado) for upcoming 2023-24 season. She played this summer at Ballarat Miners in Australian South. In 12 NBL One South games just recently she had very impressive stats: 16.7ppg, 9.5rpg, 1.2apg and 1.1bpg. This season she played at Tapiolan Honka.
She graduated from University of Colorado in 2023 and it will be her first season as a professional player. Her team made it to the Pac-12 Tournament Semifinals in 2023. Jones played also for Georgetown University for 2 years.
