Joondalup City Wanneroo Wolves (NBL One West) have signed 26-year-old American shooting guard Darien Huff (175cm-1997, college: Charleston) for the upcoming 2024 season. Huff previously played for Benfica in the Portuguese Liga Feminina, where she averaged 7.9ppg, 2.9rpg, and 1.6apg in 24 games. She played a key role in helping Benfica win the Supercup and finish the regular season in first place.
She has also played professionally in Germany, specifically in Halle and Krofdorf-Gleiberg, as well as in Sweden, specifically in Mark.
In 2020, she received the Eurobasket.com All-German 2.Bundesliga Honorable Mention award.
She used to play in the Eurobasket Summer League, which is regarded as the premier international summer league available.
She graduated from the College of Charleston in 2019, and this will be her fifth season as a professional player.
