Norwood Flames (NBL One Central) have strengthened their roster with the addition of 22-year-old American forward Emily Saunders (196cm-2001, agency: Gamble Sports Management). She recently graduated from Youngstown State University (NCAA), where she averaged 11.7ppg, 6.9rpg, 1.1apg, and 2.3bpg in 32 games last season.
She started her college career at the University of Tennessee (NCAA) where she played three seasons. Her high school career she had spent at Wyoming East High School in New Richmond, WV.
As mentioned above, she is fresh out of college and this is her first full season as a professional player. She was voted to the Horizon League All-Defensive Team in 2024.
