American Forward Nighael Ceaser (203-F-2000) had a great game in the last round for Rockhampton Rockets, receiving a Hoops Agents NBL One Player of the Week award for round 19.
The 23-year old player had a double-double of 32 points and 14 rebounds, while his team outclassed SW Metro P. (#7, 2-2) with 30-point margin 116-86. Rockets is placed at 10th position in Australian NBL One. Rockhampton is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-3 record. In the team's last game Ceaser had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Rockets, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former Texas State University at San Marcos star has very solid stats this year. Ceaser is in league's top in rebounds (8th best: 12.6rpg) and averages impressive 2.6bpg,2.6spg and 64.1% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young New Zealand Tyrell Harrison (214-C-1999) of Southern Districts Spartans. Harrison had a very good evening with a double-double of 22 points and 14 rebounds. Bad luck as Brisbane Spartans lost that game 69-74 to slightly higher-ranked Brisbane C. (#13, 2-4). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the top position in North. SD Spartans dropped in the standings to 15th position. 4 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Brisbane Spartans managed to get this year. Harrison is one of the most experienced players at SD Spartans and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was Italian forward Jacob Rigoni (198-F-1998) of league's top team Sturt Sabres. Rigoni showcased his all-around game by recording 27 points, 11 rebounds (!!!) and 6 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Sturt Sabres, leading his team to a 104-90 easy win against #4 ranked Eastern M. in a game of the week. Sturt S. confirms their top position in Central. Rigoni has a very solid season. In 8 games in Australia he scored 22.5ppg. He also has 8.1rpg, 3.9apg, a FGP of 51.9% and 3PT: 44.6%. Jacob Rigoni has also Australian passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.
