This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of second-ranked Cougars (8-4) to first ranked Devils (10-1) 94-91 in the game for the first place. Worth to mention a great performance of Daniaell Herbert who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 6 rebounds and forward Adetomi Ayilara (208-1998, college: Cloud County) who added 12 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. American forward Gerrard Newby (196-1995, college: Union, KY) responded with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds. Cougars' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Devils have an impressive five-game winning streak. Wyndham maintains first position with 10-1 record. Keysborough at the other side keeps the second place with four games lost. Wyndham are looking forward to face McKinnon (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Keysborough will play against Camberwell in Melbourne and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
