48 points scored by 24 year old American guard Nick Carlson (193-G-2000, college: St.Scholastica, agency: Warren Sports International) gave him the award of highest scoring player of the day in the world. His team the Cougars beat the Western Port Steelers 90 to 84. On top of that he also recorded 7 rebounds that evening.
He participated in the Eurobasket Summer League in Las Vegas last year. It helped him to get more exposure and attract teams overases. For new university graduates looking to enter pro basketball this is a great first step in the right direction!
Among many awards his team won the UMAC Regular Season in 2021. He was also selected as the All-UMAC Player of the Year as well as the All-UMAC First Team back in 2021. Carlson was also selected as the All-UMAC Honorable Mention back in 2020.
