Big V top team - Devils (12-2) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed eighth ranked Jets (7-8) in Sunbury 98-76. Worth to mention a quality performance of American forward Myles Thomas (201-1997, college: Tuskegee) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds and the other American import guard Troyce Manassa (193-1993, college: SSU) who added 12 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals during the contest. The best for the losing side was American guard Ray Mitchell (201-1989, college: CS Stanislaus) with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds. Jets' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Wyndham maintains first position with 12-2 record. Sunbury at the other side keeps the eighth place with eight games lost. Wyndham are looking forward to face Bellarine (#4) on the road in the next round. Sunbury will play against the league's second-placed Keysborough (#2) and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.

The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Pakenham moved-up to seventh place. Western PS lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with 13 games lost. Pakenham will play against Camberwell (#10) in Melbourne in the next round.
