American De'Sean Parsons (201-F-1995) put on an amazing game in the last round for Goldfields Giants and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents NBL One Player of the Week award for round 37.
The 28-year old forward had the game-high 41 points adding seven rebounds and four assists for Goldfields G. in his team's victory, helping them to beat Cockburn C. (#14, 3-15) 101-94. Giants is placed at 6th position in Australian NBL One. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Goldfields G. will need more victories to improve their 10-7 record. In the team's last game Parsons had a remarkable 87.5% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Giants, being already a very valuable addition to the team. De'Sean Parsons averages this season 24.2ppg, 9.6rpg and 4.9apg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young guard Michael Harris (193-G-1999) of Warwick Senators. Harris impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 38 points and 10 rebounds. Of course he led Senators to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked SW Slammers (#13, 3-14) 98-75. Warwick S.'s 8th position in West has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 9-9 record is not bad and everything may still change. Harris is one of the most experienced players at Warwick S. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 27.1ppg (#3). His other stats are also decent: 6.9rpg and 5.1apg.

The third best performed player last round was Myles Cherry (203-F-1998) of Newcastle Falcons (#12). Cherry showcased his all-around game by recording 29 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists in the last round. Despite Cherry's great performance the Falcons lost 75-87 to the higher-ranked Manly Warr. (#4, 11-3). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Newcastle F. not to end season at such low position in East, however are less than slim as they have already lost 11 games, recording just five victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Cherry could try to bring Newcastle F.'s a little bit higher in the standings. Cherry has a very solid season. In 14 games in Australia he scored 16.1ppg. He also has 11.2rpg and a FGP of 54.8%.
