Canadian Swingman Jayden Coke (199-F/G) put on an amazing game in the last round for Shepparton Gators, receiving a Hoops Agents Big V Player of the Week award for round 12.
The player had a double-double of 33 points and 17 rebounds, while his team edged out Bellarine (#4, 9-5) 132-128. Gators maintains the 6th position in Australian Big V. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Shepparton will need more victories to improve their 8-6 record. In the team's last game Coke had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Gators, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former Academy of Art star has very solid stats this year. Coke is in league's top in rebounds (7th best: 9.9rpg) and averages impressive 1.5bpg and 52.3% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was American Kavione Green (195-F) of Bellarine Storm. Green had a very good evening with a double-double of 38 points and 24 rebounds. Bad luck as Storm was edged by slightly lower-ranked Shepparton (#6, 8-6) 132-128. Bellarine managed to keep the same 4th spot in the standings. His team's 9-5 record is not bad at all. Green is one of the most experienced players at Bellarine and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was forward Luke Liesegang (203-F-1997) of Camberwell Dragons (#10). Liesegang got into 30-points club by scoring 34 points in the last round. He went also for nine rebounds . Despite Liesegang's great performance the Camberwell lost 88-103 to the higher-ranked Hume City (#5, 8-5). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Camberwell can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 3-10 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Liesegang has individually a great season in Australia. After 13 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 10.0rpg (6th best).
