Shaun Bruce was the second top scorer in the whole world yesterday having an unbelievable 38 points in his last game in the Logan Thunder- June 30, 202438 points scored by 34 year old guard Shaun Bruce (190-G-1991) resulted in being the second highest scoring player of the day in the world. His team the Thunder beat the Rockhampton Rockets 90 to 88. On top of that he also recorded 3 rebounds and 4 assists that evening.
He has played also professionally in Australia (Adelaide 36ers, Ballarat Miners, Bullets, Cairns Marlins and Cairns Taipans), Malaysia (WM Dragons), and New Zealand (Rams and Saints). He represented Australia at the World University Games in Gwangju (South Korea) nine years ago. During this event he scored an average of 4.3 points per game and had 2.1 rebounds per game. Among many awards he won the Australian NBL championship title in 2022 and 2023. He was also selected as the Australiabasket.com All-Australian QBL Domestic Player of the Year as well as the All-Australian QBL First Team back in 2017.
