22-year old center Ben Griscti (211-C-2002) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team Sturt Sabres and receives a Hoops Agents NBL One Player of the Week award for round 41.
He had a double-double of 36 points and 10 rebounds, while his team beat Woodville W. (#7, 7-9) 106-93. It allowed Sturt Sabres to take over top position in the Australian NBL One. Sturt S. have a solid 13-3 record. In the team's last game Griscti had a remarkable 70.0% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 11 attempts. He has many years of experience at Sturt Sabres, through which he has constantly improved. Ben Griscti averages this season 17.4ppg and 8.0rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Shaun Bruce (190-G-1991) of Logan Thunder. He is a guard in his first season at Logan T.. In the last game Bruce recorded an impressive 38 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists. It was enough for Thunder to edge the lower-ranked Rockhampton R. (#8, 7-8) by 2 points 90-88. Logan T.'s 3rd position in North has not changed. His team's 11-4 record is not bad at all. Bruce is one of the most experienced players at Logan T. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward De'Sean Parsons (201-F-1995) of Goldfields Giants (#6). Parsons scored 21 points and grabbed 18 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Giants, leading his team to a 90-86 win against the higher-ranked Willetton T. (#2, 14-4). Goldfields G. needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in West. Their record at this point is 11 victories and 8 lost games. Parsons has a great season in Australia. After 19 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 24.7ppg (9th best). He also has 2.1spg and a FGP of 61.6%.
