The Regular Season in NBL One is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 5 rounds. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Top ranked Mount Gambier Pioneers (16-5) recorded its fifth loss in Mt Gambier on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by fourteenth ranked Tigers (8-12) 91-86. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Mount Gambier Pioneers. Melbourne T. made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. The former international guard Tom Wilson (195-1997, college: SMU) fired 30 points and 8 assists for the winners. Forward Jack Purchase (203-1995, college: Hawaii) chipped in 27 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Akech Aliir (204-2000) produced a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds for lost side. Melbourne T. maintains fourteenth place with 8-12 record. Mt.Gambier at the other side still keeps top position with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
Another exciting game was between third ranked Joondalup W. and their biggest opponent Tigers where Joondalup W. (15-5) beat Tigers (14-6) on the road with 17-point difference 95-78. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jacob Wiley (201-1998, college: Marian, IN, agency: Helping Ballers) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds. Jonathan Wade contributed with 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Guard Marshall Nelson (184-1994, college: Wayland Baptist, agency: BIG) answered with 18 points, 5 assists and 5 steals for Tigers. Tigers' coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Joondalup W. moved-up to second place. Willetton T. lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the third position with six games lost. They share it with Sandringham S. and BA CoE. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
A very close game took place in Wonthella between Flames and Buccaneers. Eighth ranked Flames (11-9) got a very close victory on the road over leader Buccaneers (18-2). Flames managed to escape with a 1-point win 94-93 on Saturday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the home team. It ended at the same time the 11-game winning streak of Buccaneers. It was a great evening for Devondrick Walker who led his team to a victory scoring 30 points and 5 assists. At the losing side Nikolas DeSantis responded with 25 points. Buccaneers' coach tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Rockingham F. moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Warwick S. and Waverley F. Loser Buccaneers still keeps top position with two games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

There was a surprise result in Bunbury where twelfth ranked Slammers (6-14) defeated 4th placed Magic (12-8) 100-92 on Saturday. SW Slammers looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The game was dominated by American players. It was a great evening for forward Alex Holcombe (206-1998, college: DBU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks. Swingman Buay Tuach (198-1995, college: LMU, agency: Haylett Sports) helped adding 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
