Tyler Rudolph claims Australian NBL One weekly honour

American Tyler Rudolph (198-F/C-1996) had a great game in the last round for league's second-best Ballarat Miners and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents NBL One Player of the Week award for round 44.
The 28-year old power forward had the game-high 35 points adding six rebounds and two assists for Ballarat M. in his team's victory, helping them to crush Casey C. (#19, 3-18) with 19-point margin 94-75. Ballarat Miners maintains the 2nd position in their group in the Australian NBL One. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Ballarat M. will need more victories to improve their 15-6 record. In the team's last game Rudolph had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Ballarat Miners, through which he has constantly improved. Tyler Rudolph averages this season 20.9ppg and 8.3rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was forward Riley Abercrombie (206-F) of Illawarra Hawks 2nd team. Abercrombie impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 38 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Hawks lost that game 100-112 to the higher-ranked Maitland M. (#2, 16-3). Illawarra H. 2 managed to keep the same 14th spot in East. 16 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Hawks managed to get this year. Abercrombie is one of the most experienced players at Illawarra H. 2 and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Tom Koppens (201-F-2003) of Sandringham Sabres (#3). Koppens got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for seven rebounds . He was a key player of Sabres, leading his team to a 83-72 win against the lower-ranked Keilor T. (#6, 12-8). Sandringham S. needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in South. Their record at this point is 14 victories and 6 lost games. Koppens has a very solid season. In 16 games in Australia he scored 13.3ppg. He also has 8.4rpg and a FGP of 62.7%.
