The Sydney Flames (WNBL) signed 23-year-old American point guard Celeste Taylor (180cm-2001, college: Ohio State) for the upcoming 2024-25 season. She played last season with the Indiana Fever (WNBA), but during 5 games recently, she only averaged 0.6ppg.
This summer, she was drafted by the Indiana Fever (WNBA) in the second round (15th overall).
She just graduated from Ohio State and it's her first season in pro basketball.
Taylor represented the USA at the World Cup U19 in Bangkok (Thailand) five years ago. Her team won Gold and she had 5 ppg. Her team also won the Big Ten Regular Season in 2024. She was voted the All-Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year in 2024. Taylor played for other colleges such as Duke University, The University of Texas, and High School.
